I was educationally surfing the net today at work ;) and ran across this awesome website. It's called See Jane Advocate: a busy mom's practical guide to social justice. Now I'm no mom and won't be for sometime, but it was created by an awesome photographer who married an old Sterling grad. Too much info? Ok I'll cut to the chase. Anyway one of her posts was about a way to donate somebody else's money. This rocks. Check this out.
An Australian based company called Hotels Combined has a new marketing initiative. Instead of spending their normal marketing/ad budget the "normal" way, they are donating to several different non-profits in exchange for word of mouth reference. Like me putting this on this blog. You can even tweet (yes kellie!) or facebook and they give back. How sweet is that?
I'm donating $20 to World Vision without spending a single penny.
Thank you Hotels Combined for taking a risk and using your money to help those who really need it. You guys rock.
